1. Place the silicone holder securely on the dripper and position the dripper over a suitable mug or server.
2. Insert a compatible V60 Size 02 paper filter.
3. Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the rinse water from the receiving vessel.
4. Add freshly ground coffee and gently level the coffee bed.
5. Pour a small amount of hot water evenly over the grounds and allow the coffee to bloom.
6. Continue adding water gradually, using controlled pours to maintain an even extraction.
7. Allow the water to finish passing through the coffee before removing the dripper.
8. Serve and enjoy.
   

The V60's unrestricted flow allows pouring technique to influence the finished cup. According to Hario, a quicker pour can produce a more delicate body, while a slower pour can create a heavier flavor.
