The thoughtful detail is hidden inside. Once your tea reaches the strength you prefer, the stainless steel strainer can be lifted into the lid and locked above the water. There’s no need to remove a wet infuser or immediately pour the entire pot simply to prevent over-steeping.
When you're ready for another infusion, lower the strainer back into the water and continue steeping. It’s a small design choice that makes loose-leaf tea feel more relaxed and considered from the first pour to the second steep.
