  1. Add medium-coarse ground coffee to the beaker (about 2 tablespoons per 8 oz of water, or to taste).
  2. Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds and gently stir.
  3. Allow the coffee to bloom for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the remaining hot water.
  5. Place the plunger lid on top with the filter just above the water line.
  6. Brew for 3–5 minutes.
  7. Slowly press the plunger down over about 20 seconds.
  8. Pour and enjoy immediately.
